My latest freebie is a big sunny sunflower THANK YOU to everyone who sent such comforting condolences when my mom passed away at Christmas. Your sweet thoughts and prayers meant the world to me and have helped me through a very difficult time.
Mom was a garden girl and her favorite flower was the sunflower. I thought there was no better messenger of smiling gratitude than that lovely flower to tell you all how much you mean to me. I stitched the design on Wichelt's 14 count Pink Frost perforated paper with DMC floss and Mill Hill seed beads. The finished design fits inside an Ivory tri-fold needlework card with a 5" x 3" opening.
